Pandora on New God of War Slim?!?!

Ok, here is the question.... perhaps its quite far to figure out what kind of firmware will that God of war bundle will have.... but here goes..

If anybody knows... that God of War PSP Bundle (red slim), will it be modifiable? I mean, can we use a pandora hack on it? which also leads to a question of... in terms of psp slim units, what is the limitation to hacking so far?

planning to switch to a slim.... sometime, and I wanted it to be special kind...
since my phat is a special edition (metallic blue) oh how i love that psp...

any input will be appreciated. thanks!

I'm quite sure that every unit is hackable.
No matter if it's slim or phat.

There's no limitation on hacking Slim units. Before it couldn't run the 1.5 kernel, but with Time Machine even that's possible now.

As to if Pandora will work on the GoW PSP, it's impossible to tell right now. It won't hit shelves until June.

I'm sure it will have the TA-085 v2 motherboard though, which means you won't be able to create a Pandora battery on it.

Great!!!:w00t:

I love it:smile:.... although i'm going to be missing my Metallic Blue PSP:crying:

Now with that answered with confidence, comes my next question...

Will A pandora battery from an original Phat psp work on that new TA-motherboard?
I mean.. I have created my own Pandora that allows me to go to 3.80 orig & 3.80 M33-5 (thanks to x3sphere for that guide!)
will it be possible to use this pandora battery to hack the God of War Psp?

in terms of GSP unit for the slim... i've tested a slim unit that I pandorized, on both accounts it worked like a charm.. so i'm assuming that it would work on this too..

anyways, thanks for the replies acerthief & x3sphere:biggrin:

Yeah a Pandora battery created from a Phat PSP will still work on the Slim, regardless of the motherboard.

Thanks x3sphere:w00t:

now i'm confident enough to go ahead and plan for the
sweet looking God of War bundle... the crimson red...
not that nasty walmart one we saw posted on one of this psp news here on exophase:laugh::laugh::laugh:

thanks a bunch again...

now if I can only find a way to get that red psp without having to let go of my blue one:confused1::confused1:

metallic blue doesn't show the scratches a lot.

i barely see scratches unless you take your eye balls out.

That's what i love about matellic blue.

that's true!

i've have had my metallic blue psp for almost a year and a half now..
except for the dust accumulate inside the psp, the unit itself looks new.8)

not even the RED God of War which looks quite hot...
then again this is open to the entire public...
so almost lots of people will be carrying a God of War psp.

but seriously the only reason i wanted to get a slim is to be able to play Crisis Core on a big screen tv. other than that, i don't know what else is making me want to buy a slim psp.. any other features that this psp 2000 product has to offer besides an av output & a memory cache for internet usage(and the skype).... don't care much for those anyways.

Yeah Av output isn't bad.

Too bad the TV in our house is like 9yrs old and is still working. Don't think we're of getting a LCD/Plasma TV soon. :(
(and that means no GTA IV on X360 ::sob:: )

Other than that, no $$ XD

LOL, I'm starting to think about breaking my old SDTV so that my parents buy a shiny HD TV
I want 1080p!:mad1:

**grabs hammer**...this is going to be fun...hehe...

Just make sure it's unpluged, open it up and hit the very back of the tube. close it up and plug back in. They wont know what happened.:thumbup1:

dude them tv's aren't that expensive nowadays..
and you can even do some monthly payment on a few of them...

like mine, i got it for $999... and i get to pay for it in 5 installments.
it's paid now....

it's an LG... HDTV... 1080ip 42 inch... LCD... it ain't bad.. and I can't wait to
get a slim so i can port the Crisis Core in a big screen...

come to think of it...

I made up my mind to wait for the MB slim psp on Aug 12...
this color is worth the wait... don't you think acerthief?:w00t:

Y'all have no imagination... just open it up and uplug a few cables (making note of how they were plugged in), sell it as "scrap" to a friend who "likes to fiddle with electronics", and have the rents get the new TV. Then your friend just plugs the cables back in and has a nice, but older, TV for himself at a low price.
