In news that will undoubtedly excite avid followers of the RPG genre, SEGA has sent word that Phantasy Star Portable will now ship to retailers earlier than expected on March 3. A nice bump, considering the title was previously scheduled for a late March release.
Phantasy Star Portable features four play co-op over ad-hoc connection, as well as a single-player campaign akin to former installments in the series. The title has proved to be a massive hit in Japan, having charted fifth place last year in terms of overall PSP software sales.
