Phat 3.95 OFW to any CFW

Hello, I couldnt find any topic specific about this so here-we-go;
I own a PSP Slim myself, selfmodded etc, now my mate has a Phat PSP on OFW 3.95 and I would like to open a new world for him by downgrading his PSP.

I am not a fan of spending money on batteries, I modded my own slim battery by cutting the line and restoring it w/ pencil etc. (that was a method, wich in theory couldnt go wrong)

I dont really want to open his phat batt unless there is an read: -easy- way (without lifting legs/breaking legs/do-not-touch-this-area-or-it-will-explode stuff) to make a pandora batt for him.

I have no idea how a Phat works and wich method is the best and so far the cheapest, so i dont really know where to start! Please help me :)

I tried it today and it is NOT working, I made the memstick on my CFW slim /w the phat batt inserted, there seems to be a problem, SLIMs cannot pandorize phat batteries, and i want to downgrade a PHAT, anyone?
 
Because you have the motherboard TA-088 v2 or above. Is your PSP's battery Pandorized? If it is, just use yours to downgrade his. If it the menu doesn't show up on his, but shows up on yours, that means he's got a TA-088 v3. Well, good luck.

My slim battery is hardmodded by myself and i can change it back.

My own CFW slim is the one that came w/ GoW Chains of O pack (eu)

My friends PSP, dont know what motherboard it had, if I open his UMD drive i see IC6001 i think, his battery is NOT pandorized.

Is it really THIS HARD to mod a fricking old phat?

I tried pandorizing his battery on my slim, but it didnt work, at all.
 
Gotta Buy, Borrow or Hard mod a Phat battery. No other way.

You could send your battery to someone to put into service mode otherwise its the above.

Ironic that the Phat is the easiest to mod.
 
you can use a lim battery. Cut the wire that goes into the eeprom chip and then after you get your pandora battery and stick and get it done, restore it with covering it with pencil lead and then you got yourself a normal battery.
