Popsloader Aspect Ratio Issue

Hello, I recently put GEN-A 5.03 on my ChickHENed PSP 3000, and installed popsloader according to the instructions given on Dark Alex's site.

When I loaded up my Final Fantasy VI and V eboots they both had extremely large black bars taking up the majority of the screen. I've looked around the net and no one else seems to have any information regarding my situation.

It looks like the game is running letter boxed, and I don't mean the usual black bars that take up a few centimeters on the bottom and top when you play a PSX game you bought from the PS store, I mean HUGE bars. The aspect ratio is completely messed up, and thus the games horribly distorted. Does anyone know what may be the problem?

GEN-A has a bulit POPs so don't need to use POPSloader unless the game is not working correctly anwyays there should be a option on how to display the game on my it gives me option of Original, Half, Zoom, and Full Screen. I usually set mine to Full Screen.

I have the same problem, there is not much you can do, its either going to have those 2 black bars or its going to zoom in too far and truncate your psp screen (its the way sony has coded the aspect ratios). Also, when i connect my psp3000 to a tv it displays a perfect fullscreen for pops games.

you using official eboots or ones you created yourself? All custom eboots I have played work fine without the black bars.

I've given up on PSX emulation since almost all games I've tried (and all of them that I want to play) do not stretch to fit the screen vertically properly.
