Popsloader for 3.90 m33

I recently just loaded popsloader onto my PSP slim 3.90 m33 with all the good stuff like 3.71 prx's and the eboot and key in the correct place. So when I load it, I hold down R and see the pops menu. I choose 3.71 accordingly. So it starts loading the game but stops at the Playstation Logo. What am I doing wrong? Any advice would help thanks.
 
It's probably a problem with the game you're trying to play. Have you tried another game?
 
No I haven't. I used Popstation GUI V1.22 to convert an nrg to an eboot. But I just realized that it converted it but it wasn't one of the supported formats. So I'm downloading PSX2PSP v1.2, from one of your old posts. Hopefully I have better luck with that program. I will keep you posted. Another thing, does it matter what you have your game i.d. set to?
 
Just installed PSX2PSP v1.2, and no luck. It doesn't convert NRG files. Are there any programs that convert NRG to the proper eboot??
 
Ok so I got MagicISO to convert my NRG file to an ISO. From there I converted it to an eboot with PSX2PSP v1.2. However after I load which pops version I want to use (3.71) it just goes to a black screen. It doesn't freeze because when I hit the home button it lets me go to the settings and even exit. Whatelse could be the problem?
 
That's the problem. While converted NRG files may work fine with PC PSone emulators, they do not work with the PSP PSone emulator. You have to dump the game from the original disc directly to ISO/BIN format.
