Metro 2033 looks fantastic. Worth a buy X3?

It's the best game I've played this year. Already logged 7 hours into it. Best way to describe it is like a polished Stalker, without all the bugs and annoyances like having to carry bandages and radiation shots around. It's also very linear but I don't feel that hinders the experience at all.

It's the helmet you are wearing. Environmental damage such as frost is displayed, in addition to cracks when hit by a melee attack. I think the effect is very realistic. Adds to the tension and gives a claustrophobic feeling of sorts. Wouldn't work in every game but it does in Metro.

Oh well in that case, that is really cool.

This game seems really interesting. Though I doubt my Measly P4 3.2Ghz HT with an 8600GT running at 1152x864 and lower. Could run it.

Maybe if the game let me run it at 640x480 lololol Xp

You should know by now that the PC gaming community are the whiniest bunch of narcissistic bitches on the internet who will hold a grudge for a loooonnnng time. Anyone with an issue with a game (despite if they've played it or not) will be very vocal compared to the majority who typically stay silent and content.

I much preferred Singularity to Bioshock in terms of environment/levels. It's a relatively short game though but great for the price you paid for it on Steam I'm guessing

Yeah - actually got someone from the UK to gift me it. Was cheaper over there, $15. At that price I couldn't pass it up. I'm really enjoying it so far.

Yep, everything's enabled, including Tesellation and DoF.

GTA: ELC. Was never able to max this on my old 5970.. uses 1.3GB VRAM at 2560x1600.
