Problems making Pandora battery. Please help!

I hit another roadblock. :( the spare battery that I bought, it seems to have a lot of errors in it's flash (eeprom?) ? I tried converting it to a service mode battery, and it changes one key, and says the other keys are corrupt, or that an error was found, and it lists a whole set of keys that is has errors with, before it lets me make a selection. :confused1:
It lists "Error at address 0x00" through to "Error at address 0x7F" and then it lets me make a selection. When I press X, it tries to write the serials, but says "Error writing serial (1). Error writing serial (2)." and then it exits.

Are you using an official Sony battery?
Nope, some cheap 3rd party battery. I've backed up the eeprom of my official sony battery, and tried flashing it to the 3r party batt. and it won't write the eeprom from the memstick.

Its probably the battery thats the problem. I'd go for an official batt or just use your own and convert it back.

Okay, I'll just use the battery that came with my system and then convert it back. :) Thanks for the help.:)

oh yeah BTW every battery has it's own eeprom in a way,
The pandora battery readme says clearly that it can make your battery useless if you flashed one battery eeprom to another battery.

But, it never did flash the different eeprom..
