Okay, so I downgraded a TA-082 with an early downgrader. Long story short, as long as my firmware is 3.03OE or lower, my wifi works fine. After moving up to 3.30OE, however, trying to use the browser, RSS, or any other wifi feature crashes to a non-responsive BSOD. I also have the "reverse brightness in homebrew" and the "can't boot below 12% battery" problems (these two exist regardless of firmware.)
I downloaded Key Cleaner 1.1 and ran it. I now show everything as original, patched, or cleared EXCEPT key 0x0006, which is a copy of original key 0x0005. Key state is "Chilly Willy soft-downed TA-082/86 - bad key 0x0006."
I'm wondering first of all if fixing 0x0006 will take care of my wifi problems in 3.30OE+. Secondly, I'm wondering if someone can point me in the right direction as to getting ahold of a genuine 0x0006.bin from a TA-082.
I apologize if there's already a thread that answers this, but I couldn't find one. Thanks for any help you can offer =)
