Problems with music on my PSP

Yeah so more stupid little problems from me ^^
I cant seem to get audio files to play on my psp anymore, they show up as not there.

First off ill tell you what i have tried

I am running FM 3.90 M33-3

I have tried just dragging files into the music folder but they show up as not there (they dont even register on my memory card as taking up space)

I have tried using this what i thought was a pointless media director for psp and the media director wont detect audio files no matter what directory I tell it they are located in.

I have tried ripping music off the CD with WMP and then syncing it and that shows space taken up on my card and it says i have an album on it but that i have no tracks for it to play

Maybe the dye from the light blonde highlights i hade put in my hair today are affecting my brain and im missing something simple

I only have a few hours left in which to figure this out..got another road trip ahead of me :glare:
