Processors?

Im looking at a new laptop, and which one has came down to the processor.

the 3 processors are:

1. AMD Sempron(TM) Processor SI-40 with 512KB L2 cache (2.0GHz) (said 512MB L2 cache, but that HAS to be a typo)

2.[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]AMD Athlon(TM) X2 Dual-Core QL-60 with 1.90GHz, 1MB and L2 Cache

3. [/FONT]Intel

Go for the Intel. They have generally better performance overall than AMD.

I say go for the Centrino...

But for non gaming wise it not going to make a huge diffrence..

My little sister has this notbook and it works great for her and at this price it a steal...

would going 64bit have any effect, good or bad on a system w/ 2gb ram?

im thinking about it, just so I can update to 4gb in the future.

Last time I used a hp code I just call it in...

I say on a non powerful cpu it wont be worth it to get 64 bit vista...

But I say if your going to upgrade the ram go for it...But in the mean time download a copy of 32 bit vista...
