Firmware 1.80 for PS Vita will bring one of the most requested features to date for the platform: PSOne emulation support, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan announced today. It's slated to arrive later this summer, as announced during the company's E3 press conference last month.
While there isn't much in the way of new news here, we at least now know which firmware revision to expect PSOne support in.
The announcement was made alongside word that Sony will launch a PlayStation 2 Game Archives section on the Japanese PSN later this month.
