PS3 PS3 Firmware 4.30 Brings PS Vita Trophies to PS3, Out October 23

Sony's announced that PS3 firmware 4.30 is due out on October 23 -- two days from now -- and will bring with it the oft-requested ability to view PS Vita trophies on the PS3. It's puzzling as to why it took this long, but further integration of both platforms is of course welcomed news.

Knowing Sony, it's probably pure laziness. I mean, it has taken them eight months to add Vita trophies to PS3 when support was already there from day one in the trophy API. They most likely don't want to keep maintaining the app considering only a small portion of the PS3 userbase uses it.
