Theres some divx formats the PS3 won't play

Which ALL of my movies happen to be recorded in. 8 Seasons of That 70's Show, 5 of Family Guy, the Matrix Trilogy, the Star Wars Trilogy and about 20 other movies. I can't get a single one to play.

Also, yes, OGG support would be nice.

If your computer and PS3 are on the same network, just use a streaming program, like TVersity, and you'll never have to worry about formats again

This assumes that I not only know how to stream media, but I actually have the hard drive space to do it.

Can my bluetooth laptop connect directly to my PS3 to stream, or do I have to do it over the internet? My bandwidth is usually hogged by torrents and downloads.

I will be via Lan.
So speed wouldn't be a big problem.
You can even stream basic stuff with WMP11.
But TVersity ftw.
