It still doesn't make me wanna buy a new PSP. I don't even use my Phat as much as I used it before. But, it's still great to know that people are still working on the PSP.

Now, if only the Touch could get jailbroken easily.

I haven't heard about FreePlay's version (my guess it that it works universally), but the unencrypted one requires CFW......

Yes, the reencrypted one works on any PSP

But so far this is usermode only.

It is indeed hacked now. They found an exploit in GripShift of all games.

Well then, we're going to have to change that

Some interesting news on this topic is that Datel is apparently getting sued by Sony (which is why no one has gotten the battery they ordered from them) and the PSP-3000 has HEN running on it.

Now all that we need is a public kernel exploit and a downgrader might be not far off
