PSP Loading/Saving problem

My psp3001 can't load save data files from memory stick.. when i choose LOAD GAME, my psp just hangs then turns off.. i have 2 different memory sticks [1 gb and 2 gb both magicgate supported] and i still experience the same problem.. any suggestion on how to fix this?

i'm not using CFWe / GEN-A / HEN
i'm loading the game from a UMD (i tried different UMD's [FFVII, ratchet and clank, Jeanne D'arc] but still the same)

edit : i already tried a cold reboot but still the same :(
also a MS format(both from psp and PC).. but failed
even saving is a problem =/

i have the problem with games that reads save states from the memory stick* i.e. crisis core, patapon, jeanne d'arc, ratchet and clank. all umd's. no iso/cso.

*what i'm referring to is the one like when you save/load a game, it's like the XMB menu.

What were you doing before this? Your card sounds like it died or is dying.
 
Well, actually, the same old routine I'm doing.. Play, listen to music, and view photos(reviewing specimens).. I just don't know what happened.. It all started when I was playing Jeanne D'arc.. It didn't load up.. I didn't mind it at first and stopped playing the game, instead, I played Tekken.. Well, the save/load states were smooth.. Just except the games which loads/saves like XMB, if you know what I mean..

Additional info..
I tried it with mem stick and w/o mem stick.. same problem.. what I noticed was when I was playing Crisis Core WITHOUT the MS.. The highlight should be on new game, right? Well, mine was weird and it highlighted the LOAD GAME. Even without a save state nor a memory stick.. :(

oh sigh.. my psp doesn't work now.. i dunno why...
 
Sorry for this one but you could try deleting your saves, making new games and see if they work. It would completely erase all your progress in games though so... back them up first
 
Well, I'm sending it to Sony Customer Support here in the Phils. I just told them it turned black when I was updating and luckily, they said that others encountered the problem too.
