i was upgrading my set to v5.50 before i can move on to gen-d2.. after i uograded to 5.50, it the program alerted me to shutdown the set which i did.. when i restarted the set... all my isos disappeared... and when i try to start the updating icon... it say the file is corrupted...

i connected the psp to my pc and deleted certain files away... the isos were stil in my memory stick but wouldn't show when i on it... so i remove the files and copy them back in... iso icon disappeared and when i try the updating file... it said the file is corrupted... any form of file put in was of no us...

can anyone tell me what happen???

You might have gotten the OFW upgrade instead of the CFW upgrade.

Go into System Settings and select System Information. If it just says "5.50" and not "5.50 GEN-A" or something like that, then you unfortunately got the OFW upgrade.

Do you have a Pandora Battery and a Magic Memory Stick? If not, I'll light the way:

Making a Pandora Battery out of a regular battery is extremely tricky and dangerous, so I say to buy one from here:
Pandora Sales
I bought my Pandora Battery from here and they did not (I repeat: DID NOT) swindle me. They sent me a real working Pandora Battery which I still use to hack and play my PSP to this day. I recommend buying the 2-in-1 Pandora/Regular Battery, which is what I bought.

I don't really remember how to make a Magic Memory Stick, but making one is a lot easier than making your own Pandora Battery. Or if you want to play it safe, you can buy a Magic Memory Stick from the same site.

Respond when you have both your Pandora Battery and your Magic Memory Stick, and I'll tell you what to do next.
