What are you talkin' 'bout, roe? In Japan, Pokemon > EVERYTHING (exception- Final Fantasy)

well,i play Pokemon and I'm meant to be a responible adult with a job and attending college.....so...i dunno....pokemon rocks though

the thing that ruined pokemon's image in the UK at least was the massive amounts of merchadise which was aimed at kids....that in turn made the games look like they were for kids which if anyone who's played them would be able to tell you their not.

:laugh:LMAO Sorry, that cracks me up.

Yeah, personally, I do still play Pokemon games, although Diamond and Pearl, for some reason, were just gut-wrenchingly terrible... I think it had to do with how slow your person moved, and after you hit with an attack, the slight delay before the actual damage hit... That time racked up, by the end of a battle it took about 10 more seconds than it should've. That just annoyed me to the point of no return, I dunno why, just one of those things that unexplainably piss me off.

Same here... but I think the series is losing its charm, to be honest I wasn't impressed with Diamond and Pearl.

I would like to see what Nintendo could do with a real Pokemon game on the Wii (real, as in a RPG, not another spinoff like Stadium)

thats what the fans have been calling out for since pokemon appeared. :P

I gotta say pokemon could quit right now and be ranking in the dough for years and as long as they keep making it they will be people who buy it also didn't an rpg esque pokemon come out for the cube.

Yeah. Back on the Slim, while there was a huge sales increase in Japan, I think PSP sales aren't going to improve much here in the US.

US marketing for the Slim is totally f'ed up, Sony is not marketing it here as a PSP Slim but just as the same old PSP Core Pack. Nothing on the box says it has a slimmer design or anything, so your average store clerk doesn't even know that a PSP Slim is out...

Yeah, that has to be, by far, one of the worst marketings of a new product in years... A LACK OF ONE.
