Query related to 5.03 GEN(Full)

If i load 5.03 GEN(Full) in my psp will i be able to get back to official firmware if need in the future.

yes, whether it is PHAT or SLIM you could use pandora on it!.., if it is PSP3000 and TA-88 v3, just a cold boot!., and it will revert back to OFW!.

btw are you using pandorable psp, cause I saw your post on the thread "Custom Firmware 5.50 GEN-B".

I have 2 psp's one is a phat and another is the slim-3000 series.
I am definitely gonna try 5.50 GEN B on my psp phat.

Just an add-on question to this, will there be any trace of 5.03 GEN (Full) if i I update to OFW? And is there any chance that installing 5.03 GEN (Full) will brick my psp 3000?

Installing 5.03 Gen is completely safe. If you update to a new OFW, then no there wont be no trace of it.

When you update, the updater formats the flash and installs and fresh Firmware.

Nope!., It only add some files on Flash and if you turn off your PSP it will turn back to OFW!!.

The file flasher.prx must be deleted or renamed so that it is not accidentally executed.Whats the use of this flasher.prx,also if i delete it would there be a problem?

Also "File" in the memory stick root can be deleted.Is it necessary?
