Question about same game on steam

I just got counter strike source for steam,but only one problem is they offfer a half life 2 deathmatch for free, I already have this game so....
Is it possible to send this game to someone else by email on steam?
I didn't install counter strike source if it helps any.

Last I checked it should give you the game as a gift that you can give away to another user.

Click on the games tab and then click on 'Manage gifts & guest passes'. It should show the game there.

Fix pre-load problem needed activate CD-Key.

Just to clear things up, Steam only offers the ability to gift extra copies for Half-Life 2 & Half-Life 2: Episode 1 (For the Orange Box Deal mainly).

You can, but only if you want to pirate it (which I don't recommend, considering the game is less than 20$ in stores).
