Question on the TA-088 motherboard

How do you know if your PSP has a TA-088 motherboard? Also, what motherboards can not run CFW? I'm so confused about this I have been looking around and cant find the answer
 
Only new TA-088 units cannot run CFW at the moment. If you are buying your PSP in the US or Europe, then you should be fine. Next month might be a different story though.
 
Thanks for the help, I put CFW on my buddys PSP and I thought his PSP might have been a TA-088. Is there anyway of looking at a PSP and knowing that it is a TA-088.
