[Quick tutorial] Check out the new google.com design

A quick how-to for those that want a sneak-peak at the new google design:

1 - Log out of your google accounts.

2 - Get on Google. Not google.co.uk, or anything else. .com

3 - Paste this onto your browser's address bar and press ENTER:

4 - Exit google.com and then go back to google.com

What you guys think? I don't like it so much... Searches remind me of bing.

I don't mind it, the changes are minimal at best. As a matter of fact, I kind of prefer it. The matte finish is nice, and much better than the embossed & shadowed Google logo. Feels more modern IMO.

It works here (Firefox). It also alters the the results page, adding a left bar to narrow down the search. Very useful, considering there's heaps of horzontal screen space the search page has.

Yes. Well, kind of. There isn't a space in the code that Kezra posted, but there is when you copy it. It's not a forum fault, it's just how the copying happens *shrug*.

Looks terrible. It does remind me of Bing, something I don't get since Google is still charging ahead of them last I heard. The new logo is something I'm fine with, though.

Clear your cookies or search for the PREF cookie under the Google.com domain and delete that.

New setup still keeps the minimal pull so fine by me.
