Yesterday Indian gaming site GameGuru started a rash of internet speculation when it claimed that Rare was working on a sequel to the hit N64 title Perfect Dark. Today Rare downplayed the rumor, giving it the old "no comment."

Which most likely means, Perfect Dark 2 is in development and we aren't ready to announce anything about it at this time, but at the same time we'd like to keep the rumors afloat.
