REALLY strange MVSPSP and CPS2 problem! Help!

Im running 3.10 oe a2 firmware. I have a 1 gig stick. Me and a pal were running mvspsp 2.06 on our psps over Adhoc when the connection got messed up and we were disconnected. The game froze and when i rebooted the psp it was no longer able to play mvspsp OR cps2. It plays ALL other emulators, psx and UMD's. It will start the game and it will hang on the first screen with NJ's web address. Seeing that this could be a problem with the memory stick, I reformatted it, put new roms and files back on it, Still, same thing. I even took my friends memory stick, popped it into MY psp and STILL ,same thing. This is obviously a PSP issue then, not a memory stick/ software issue so I reseted my settings on the PSP. Still, same thing. I am REALLY feeling stuck right now. Any Ideas?

odd, maybe something is interfering with the connection?

try this.. go to network settings, ad-hoc, and set both PSP units to Ch 6

I'll try it, but the real problem is that it will no longer even let me get to the rom selection screen, it just starts up and freezes.

hmm well try starting from a clean mvspsp or cps2 (no settings file, roms etc). see if it boots fine. then add a game and try again.

could just be that one of your roms are corrupt and causing the selection screen to freeze.

Thats whats fishy. I tried it. Still freezes at the very first screen, wont even let me get to the directory page. I did notice something was strange, when i removed the zipname file it will skip through the first screen it normally freezes at and it will say "fatal error, cannot find zipname file".

FIXED!!!!

turned out that it was a problem with the analog stick as weird as it sounds. Apparently MVSPSP wont open if the analog stick is being pressed. I just popped my messed up analog back into place and it works beautifully. Thanks!
