Save your translate in UTF-8 without signature (without BOM)

I use CTF themes and work without any problems

So I saved the file again with notepad using UTF-8 coding and now it works. Thanks!

Edit: To get rid of _ character you have to save it with notepad ++ and use "Encode in UTF-8 without BOM" format as myhouse1991 said.
 
There is a compatibility problem with this and custom firmware extender. I dont know if there is enough memory for both to work at teh same time?

Both enabled at the same time works fine here. It won't work if you have custom firmware extender above game categories in vsh.txt.

For example:

Can anyone comment on this ISO CAT folder issue? P.S. I've tried using the gc_hide_uncategorized.txt trick, but (apparently) this doesn't work for Content Browser mode.
 
im not sure if my problem is the same as above. using this awesome gc9 on 5.03gen-b. what i did was:

1. made a CAT_PSP Games to put 'u noe what'
2. leave all the hb uncategorized, meaning in PSP/GAME. this is because after loading chickhen, if i put the 5.03gen-b in a CAT_folder, it will say corrupted data. thus i cant load my 5.03gen-b

the real problem is even if i put a CAT_PSP Games, all the games are AGAIN, shown in the uncategorized folder~ so it duplicates it~ any solution?
 
hi. i have a problem with this plugin since the version 5 or 6 to 9
the plugin works very well. i don't have problems with letters, category or anything. i have a problem with compatibility with another plugin.
this one: RCO Patcher Package + 176 Custom Waves (rco_patcher.prx). if the plugin is on my psp doesn't boot and i need to enter in recovery to disable it. then the psp boot. can you make something about that? i want to use my custom waves and your plugin and i can't use them both and i don't want to stay at version 5 with Game Categories. i like the new category style :(

i doesn't work. i've changed it and is not working
my VSH.txt looks like that:

ms0:/seplugins/rco_patcher.prx 0 (now is 0 because my psp doesn't boot)
ms0:/cxmb/cxmb.prx 1
ms0:/seplugins/PSPconsole/PSPconsole.prx 1
ms0:/seplugins/game_categories.prx 1


i switch this line ms0:/seplugins/rco_patcher.prx 1 four times. i've put it in the beginning, second, middle, third and last and nothing
any ideas?
 
mm I just updated from an older version, and the content browser mode doesn't work? For some reason, it's sampling the photo folder instead of the game one...

edit: could this be the "MHU" problem you mentioned?
 
This is actually a really good plugin,
i noticed that when you are in the ISO folder and place a CAT_ISO inside of it with isos. Under the XMB the ISO's show up 2x, once in the new ISO lder and once in the uncategorized folder.

Also in future updates is it possible to be able to customise the uncategorized folder name?

also, for us 3000 and v3 users we still need to have the launcher for gen of cfwe.
Is there a way to implememnt this so they do not get left in the uncategorised folder? as they need to be in PSP/GAME as if they were in CAT_ they would be seen as corrupted, and cannot load without doing it manually.

compared to the previous releases this is by far the best way to sort apps.

disable game categories in recovery, you got it running twice
once in the fw, once as plugin
folder name can be changed by applying a translation file, and replacing the 1st line
and if you use GEN you can use the GAME5.XX folder, only GEN sees things in that folder, OFW and HEN ignore it.
 
Hey bubbletune. i found a bug, i guess.

(using a psp phat and content browser)

Play any music file, then quit and try to play a game (do not watch a video, or put to sleep), then since it was using the photo modules, it loads up the game's icon, instead of starting up the game..

yeah, i made an account just to say this :D

Great plugin! been using it since multiple ms was introduced. thx a lot.

EDIT: i'd like a "skip gameboot" feature too.. if its not too much to ask, :D
