hi how are you all doing i wanted to know i am planning on flashing my gameboot for my psp3k and everyone is telling me to back up my flash and what not. Soooooo what do i need to back up my Flash
 
well, thanks for the help dude. However, i just have one question. As a lot of you have been saying, the only thing that is safe to flash on the 3k are gameboots right? What if i used this gameboot, and then suddenly shut down my psp fully? Can this possibly mess up my system because the psp is not in HEN mode anymore?

just enable HEN everytime..
 
ok idea works perfect. but i have downloaded a messed up gameboot. the psp starts hen works but when i try to play a game the game boot starts and it shuts down my psp. how would i fix this?

I have same sentiments with this one.. i was thinking, maybe this is good as long as the hen is running.. but would this bring danger once the hen goes off and I start a game using the OFW 5.03?

haha...yeah, nobody is mentioning about that here. I wanna find out what happens. Like bubbletune mentioned in the other thread...gameboots in theory should work...especially in a HEN environment, however, he is not entirely sure once the PSP returns to the OFW.

So to those who have tried this and successfully done it with their 3k....can you try returning to OFW and see what happens? LOL

Anyways, its hard to enable HEN eeverytime because there are some homebrews that makes my PSP hang...so sometimes it forces me to reset my psp. :D
 
yup, i got it to work.

BTW, there is a video made by bonut about flashing a custom bootwave. You might want to check that one out in youtube. He also was the one who created the video about the gameboot in the previous comments here.
