Ok, my friend who is a long distant buddy I met is having an issue.

The problem is, he sold his modded 360 to a friend for 200$. It was in great condition and everything. Now his friend got a RROD on it and wants the money back.

It was in mint condition, modded, and his friend knew there was a possibility that it could get an RROD and he agreed.

My friend doesn't want to give him the money, because he thinks his friend did something stupid to it.

What should he do?

edit: this friend is a guy i met on qj!

He sold it in working condition. How could he have known it would RROD?

Final sale. If it were me who sold it, I wouldn't budge

*the guy who bought it*Its his fault,He bought it in working condition knew it might get RROD and knew it was modded.
Its his fault, I agree with slasher on this one final sells are final.
edit- What error is the rrod?

red ring of death

some people call it prod or power ring of death

33% of all xbox 360 have rrod luckily mine doesnt :p

If the friend that bought it knew that it was modded and therefore had no warranty then he needs to grow up and accept the fact he made a bad decision.

If he bought it thinking it was legit then he has every reason to want his money back.

Its all sorted out, thanks for the replies.

Hey everyone! I'm the friend Sullivan was mentioning. The person I sold the 360 to evidently jostled the video cable loose. I figured it out cuz he said it was all four red lights and not just the 3. :D Good thing I know my RROD quick facts.

It was a good deal for 200$ though, with all those *burned* games. lol
