The same Xbox fan site that gave life to the 360 motion sensing rumor is back for round 2. According to their "source" who is a Konami distribution rep, Metal Gear Solid 4 is only a timed exclusive to the PS3 and will appear on the Xbox 360 between 12 to 14 months after the PS3 version reaches store shelves.

Despite even Kojima assuring that the title would stay as a PS3 exclusive, is it still possible that MGS 4 could wind up on the 360 a year later? The answer is a resounding (or not so resounding) yes. Remember Sony denied existence of the PSP Slim numerous times over, only to announce it at E3?

hmmm im not sure its even been said by hideo kojima mgs4 cant fit on a standard dvd but i guess only time will tell.

Well if this is true, i'm pretty sure MGS4 can be compressed enough to fit on a standard DVD. If they can do it with GTA4 etc etc. so on and so forth. They (knoami) can fit MGS4 on a DVD-9 Disc, I doubt any game for the PS3 has yet even pushed the limit the Blu-Ray Disc's have. Just like how most PS2 games used only like 3/4ths or or just half the disc space.

Plus M$ has the money, and where ever the money is, Thrid party companies will follow. once again an Example was GTA, where it then turned into a Timed Exclusive, which then turned into a Multi Platform game. Then again it works the other way too where M$ had Timed Exclusives which then got ported over to the PS3.

Or I guess what people seldom think about anymore- multi-disc? If nothing else, Blu-rays (single-layer) hold 25GB, where as dual-layer DVDs hold 8.5GB. I'm no genius but 3 DL-DVDs is 25.5GB, and would cut it even if it fills an entire Blu-ray and cannot be compressed.:p

Ahh good ol Multi disc swapping, well they're were still some multi disc'd games even on the PS2 platform given they were all RPG's (or most were). But you do know the 360 wont support multi disc, espcially since everytime you eject the disc the screen goes back to the main dashboard unless M$ decides to fix that for game that may require more disc's (as supposedly MGS4 was reportedly taking up most of the Blu-Ray space).

Not to burst your bubble, bud, but Blue Dragon for the X360 IS multi-disc, spanning 3 discs, and Lost Odyssey, an upcoming game for it, is also supposed to be multi-disc (4, or so they've said)
