According to the ever-reliable Microsoft insider Jake Metcalf, an all-new Xbox 360 peripheral codenamed "Lips" is in the works. While no real official information concerning Lips has been divulged, it is rumored that the mystery device will be shown at Microsoft's press event tomorrow, along with the company's oft-rumored Xbox 360 motion-sensing controller.
Metcalf himself speculates that Lips is a "voice communication" device that may in fact provide voice recognition to 360 titles. Reportedly, development on the peripheral has been fairly low-key, which to say the least isn't exactly surprising, considering that rumors regarding it just recently cropped up.
So there you have it. Let's cross our fingers and hope for more details tomorrow.
