Back in June, it was difficult to say what the future of Atlus would be after news got out that parent company Index was going through some financial troubles. Now, however, it would appear that the future is just a tad bit clearer as Sega has confirmed its acquisition of Index, in the process also obtaining Atlus and its various IPs.
Sega Sammy issued a press release revealing the strategic move this morning.
