September NPD Results Are In - 360 Places First

The NPD group has released the software and hardware sales numbers for the month of September. As expected, Xbox 360 hardware sales surpassed the Wii thanks to the release of Halo 3... not as much as we expected though -- Nintendo still pushed around 501,000 Wii units in contrast to 527,800 Xbox 360 units sold.
