Wii U Shigeru Miyamoto Confident in the Success of Wii U's 'Long Future'

Nintendo mainstay Shigeru Miyamoto believes that the Wii U has a long, fruitful future ahead of it. According to the mind behind Mario and Zelda, there's a lot of time for growth. Miyamoto isn't claiming that the Wii U has gotten off to a hot start, though. In fact, the legendary designer told the New York Times that he would like for the console to produce stronger sales.

Couldn't agree more. Shit takes time. Things don't always get off to the best start. The PS3 started of god awful. Living up to none of it's promise and Sony losing tons of money on every unit sold. Plus kept removing more and more features. And struggled in sales against the 360. Now look at it. It's equalized in sales numbers ground, and even in software. (Even though most MultiPlat games are still worse on the PS3 in many ways such as framerate and AF,frame buffer resolution. A far cry from the days when they were drastically worse like around launch. But still worse in many areas)
