Sony's issued a statement in response to yesterday's sporadic string of PSN outages, saying it is investigating a possible 'cyber attack.' Yesterday the Internet misfits known as 'Anonymous' waged an all-out assault against Sony, flooding servers through several waves of denial of service attacks.
The aim? According to AnonOps, payback for violating consumer rights and 'abuse of the judicial system,' in reference to the ongoing Geohot trial.
