Capcom's official blog has updated with comparison shots of the wicked Akuma in HD and Akuma in old-school sprite fashion. Yes, the sprite shown on the left is an actual representation of what will be shown in-game. If you ask me, it's undeniable proof that 2D games, even today, can still hold up strong in the graphics department.
