Earlier today, Level-5 and Grasshopper Manufacture announced the North American release of Liberation Maiden on the 3DS eShop. The game stars a protagonist named Shoko Ozora who also happens to be the president of New Japan. By piloting a flying mech, she will need to take down imposing threats to aid her land.
Liberation Maiden features what appears to be flying shooter gameplay, and judging from the launch trailer, the experience seems to be filled with fast-paced action.
