Switched from Devhook 0.51 to 3.10OE, can I format my memory stick after that?

I was using Devhook 0.51..
I just updated my psp to 3.10OE-A2 without formating my memory stick first.
And now I want to get rid of the devhook 0.51 in my memory stick. I want to know can I format my memory stick? Is 3.10OE-A2 just like updating the firmware? so even I format my memory stick, the psp is still 3.10OE-A2?
And one more question, since Devhook 0.51 write sth in the flash0 or 1, will it matter that I just install the 3.10OE on top of it and does it matter that I format my memory stick??

since you have updated your psp to v3.10 OE A' ,you can format your memory card
v3.10 OE A' is contained on the flash memory in the psp and not on the memory card.you run programs and homebrew off the memory card now that you have a OE firmware installed....

no its ok to format your memory stick.. also, the install of 3.10 OE formats the flash before installing.. so it doesn't matter what devhook wrote to your flash.

But.. now that you are on 3.10 OE, don't touch the flash options in devhook anymore (if you choose to run it again).

yep that works.. also, like Xsavior said you don't really need devhook anymore (OE runs ISO games straight through the XMB). However some people seem to run into compatibility issues with certain games so its probably good to keep it on your ms just in case.
