Okay, I'm not really into cheating, but I'm interested in the technology behind it.
From what I understand and what I've been doing with Cheatmaster, cheat devices let you change specific items in memory to change stuff in-game, so if you know the memory address of the variable that controls life, or armor, and lock it to a high value, you're invincible.
BUT...
1. In Cheatmaster, I can't seem to manage to control my life in Syphon Filter Dark Mirror. I've tried fuzzy search, and keep ending up with zero results... Any help?
2. CWCheat has a "database" of cheats, basically a collection of memory addresses which store stuff you can change like ammo, life, armor, speed, money, or w/e. But won't the address of the variable that controls ammo, life, etc... change in every game? If so, how can CWCheat work?
I hope I'm being clear enough...
