hey guys just wanted to clarify? my m8 got a PSP 2000 last Sunday and wants me to downgrade it. How do i know that it's TA-088v3? will the green light simply come on and stay on forever with out anything popping up on the screen? or... i really don't want to use the identifier program so is there any other way?
 
Exactly like you have said. Green light nothing else.

If it came with 4.05 OFW it is 99% chance it is TA-088v3
