Valve is living up to its promise that the upcoming Sniper update for Team Fortress 2 will be the largest yet. For day two of the ongoing Sniper reveal, Valve has announced that it is introducing a new game type dubbed "Payload Race."
Maps categorized under this mode feature dual payload carts, which team members are tasked to both push in hopes of reaching the goal first. Fittingly, Valve calls it "gladiatorial cart combat." Pipeline, the first Payload Race map, sees players prowling around in an uphill battle to escort their cart to its final destination.
Along with the above additions, the Sniper update will bring two new arena maps, namely Sawmill and Nucleus. Look for it all to hit Steam within days.
