Independent developer High Voltage Software today announced that its Wii exclusive first-person shooter The Conduit is slated for a release in the first quarter of 2009.
Promising to "provide some of the best visuals seen to date on Nintendo's Wii gaming console," the game is powered by the developer's in-house Quantum 3 engine, which boasts graphical features such as dynamic environment mapping and real-time water reflection effects. In addition to a story-driven single-player campaign, the game itself will feature online multiplayer and a control set tailored specifically towards the Wii.
