Well at the moment in my class it isn't so much studying philosophers as it is studying theories. We have done a little on Nietzsche, Plato, Socrates and Descartes but it hasn't been as bad as it sounds as a lot of what we study about them ties in with the theories, making it much easier to digest. =)

@gman: We have some great discussions in class, you should give it a try and see if you like it.
