Forgive me if I've missed anybody out, your the only moderators as far as I'm aware of. I just sent this to the people I thought would take this seriously. If one of you could make a thread with this information, that would be a great.
I have heard there has already been a YouTube channel for MforMature already set up. Considering the site is going down in popularity and right now there is nothing we can do about it, we will have to use this to our advantage.
Myself, aswell as eldiablov are keane to get this idea under construction, as MfM will get a lot of popularity and new members; hopefully new topics brought to our forum.
I'm not going to mess around; the site is dead and taking this opportunity can help it, what with all of the upcoming releases as christmas is homing in on us, this would be a great opportunity.
If we have enough dedicated people to work with this, then we'll be great.
What we're going to need is:
- A group of reviewers that have a decent source for the latest releases (blockbuster,their own money, etc.) - A video capturing device (video camera, DVD recorded, Dazzle, etc) - Also some ability at video editing
- A channel designer - Design must relate to the colour scheme of the site; must contain logo
- A splash screen and/or a watermark on every video - Watermark bottom left of video, again of logo - 'splash screen' containing a logo (Possibly a little 'jingle' )
- Have a link to the channel on the mainpage (M for Mature - Video Gaming and Consumer Electronics - News, Reviews, Editorials, and Community Discussion) - And vice-versa - Somebody who is persuasive - To give people a reason to join here.
This doesn't have to be restricted to video gaming, also other electronic releases can be reviewed or given information on (televisions, multimedia players, etc.)
I myself will not be able to dedicate all of my time to this because I'm in my last year at school, so we'll need a couple of dedicated admins.
