Sure :)

We're going to need a submission only thread soon.

There are other ways ;)

I'm installing Cyberlink trial, something or other now; it's said to be one of the best.

I had the same idea as you madsoul :p

Not sure yet, I can't find a decent video editor that works on a netbook. AVS is bigger than the screen size and I can't scroll down, same with Cyberlink.

Trying Adobe Premiere, I don't have to activate it as I installed some activation patch :)

I'd be willing to help out too...not too sure what I could do though...I do have a load of stuff on PC...no mic on my PC...do though on my netbook :D

I'll be using my mic from my netbook too, no worries there.

I'm amazed at the interest this has recieved and I thank you Dan for taking charge of things as I'm quite busy at the present time. I think it's safe to say you'll have a big hand in running this.

I'll be on later tonight to discuss more details on this, but anyone who is decent at video editing would be a great help in creating a video intro.

More names added to the list.

I'm down?

I will probably invest in some screen capture software for my Ps3/360 if we're doing consoles and it kicks off.

I hear that Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere are good, but I don't actually own any good software. Might pirate Vegas just to get my trial vid done and then move on to finding some good free software.
Also, I stand by Fraps. There's noticeable FPS lag in-game, but the output vid is solid 30fps.

Does anybody know the dimensions for a channel background? After a google search, most people say 2000px x 1500, but that's way over 256k.

Video Editing and Netbook should not be in the same line :scared: Not many will work well with it at all, try Microsofts Movie Maker Beta

Don't get me wrong, it works fine and it's running full speed. I'm just not used to it :p

What do you think of the layout? It's just a rough mock-up. It's on the page now, but it isn't looking right as there isn't any video's on there.

Here's the template if anybody wants to make one.

Here's the console fonts if anybody needs them.

Andreas, is it ok if I use some of your other stuff, like your albums or DiabaseCollective's music as background in the video?
