Time played not tracking

Hi,

I noticed that my playtime tracking is no longer updating correctly. At least for The Last of Us Part I (PS5), the hours played seem to be stuck and are not increasing anymore.
What's strange is that:
  • The playtime appears correctly on my PS5 console.
  • The playtime also appears correctly on PSNProfiles.
  • Only here, the tracked playtime is no longer updating.
Is this a known issue? Has anyone else experienced the same problem recently? Is there any way to force a resync or fix the tracking, or have I permanently lost the missing playtime data?

Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

PSNProfiles doesn't show playtime data, does it?

No, I'm not aware of any current issues. There were some issues last week as reported by this user. But from what I can see the data is being returned from PSN normally now.

However when I check the raw data from PSN it is indeed missing Last of Us Part I. The mobile PS App when viewing your profile also does not list it under "Recently Played" although other games at the top of your list here are present. Since it seems you last earned a trophy in this today it should be showing there.

So I would imagine this is some kind of issue on PSN's side, once visibility of the game returns under "Recently Played" then it should pick up the hours. Also maybe check that you haven't set the game to hidden on PSN, I didn't check for that but is another reason why it could've gone missing.

Thanks for checking and taking the time to investigate it.

I checked on my side and the game is not hidden. It also seems to be missing from the "Recently Played" section in the PS App, so it does look like a PSN-side issue rather than a PSNProfiles issue.

I guess there's not much I can do for now other than wait for Sony to fix it and for the game to reappear in Recently Played. Hopefully the playtime data will sync correctly again once that happens.

Thanks again for looking into it.
