For a console that launches in less than a month, Nintendo has been rather coy surrounding details of its online plans for Wii U. Heck, even Tekken Tag Tournament 2 director Katsuhiro Harada wasn't briefed as of last month.

However, it seems Nintendo is finally sharing its plans with external partners.

It's the same on PS3/360 isn't it, you have to sign into your EA account to access certain features in BF3 for example. They just call it an Origin account now. It doesn't mean there will be an actual app though.

Oh, well I haven't played any EA game on Consoles since BFBC2 was a demo/beta and I dont' remember much of that.

Makes sense the way you put it though. No different than Konami's GameID and KonamiID
