So i've been struggling to update my PSP Slim TA-85 v2. Evertime I try to go from 4.01 m33-2 to 5.00 m33 I get a PSP error on the Sony update page when I'm at 92% (error FFFFFFFE). It then bricks the PSP and I have to use my Magic Stick/Pandora to go back to 4.01 m33-2. I have done everything I can think of including Formating LFlash and using IDStorage Tools. I'm out of options. Hopefully someone can help me out.
 
download and install DC8 then upgrade via your new mms and pandora. :)
 
You can also try Hellcat Recovery Flasher 1.60 takes you to 5.00 M33-6 right away
