hi guys.. i recently tried to upgrade my psp to ver 3.52M33-3 and it succeeded.. but when i ran the 3.71M33-2 upgrade files they had some error with my files with my psp.. so i turned off my psp and wanted to go to recovery mode but now when i turn on my psp, it gives me a blank screen.. its on as the green light is lit but the screen is black and i cant do anything.. anyone please help with this

hm....
what motherboard do you have?

It looks like maybe your key5 was unpatched but then failed to update to 3.71M33, making your PSP a brick.

?

hmm, what do you mean by what motherboard do i have?.. sry i dun understand these kinda stuff.. I AM SUPER DESPERATE NOW..

Pop open your UMD drive and look at the motherboard (green) and see if there's any writing at all on it. If there is you have a TA 82-86 motherboard. If nothing is there you have a TA079-081 motherB..If you have the latter it shouldn't have had a patched key 5.

Everyones kinda straying away from the fact that this guy prob has a brick first try out the recovery menu and see if you can use the recover if not try to find a friend with pandoras and recover to 1.5.

?

ok.. i haf a green motherboard.. yeah.. but i tried to go into the recovery menu and it doesnt work.. i somehow tink its a full brick.. can anyone help at all!!! anyway to fix it by myself.. cuz i dun haf the money now to send it for repair.... argh!! i m darn desperate

If you can't get into recovery mode, you'll need Pandora for certain. If you know someone nearby with a cfw PSP, you can use their PSP to make the battery and stick yourself, otherwise you'll have to find someone to help you via mail. I know MaxConsole has a thread on people willing to help via the mail. Not sure if there's a thread like that here.

hmm then how shall i do it?? because i m totally confused now.. n desperate.. zzz.. anyone noe what can i do now??? as in step by step pls...

Your only choice is to get someone to convert a battery to Pandora for you. The process is detailed here but requires a working PSP running custom firmware: http://forums.exophase.com/showthread.php?t=3780

If you don't anyone nearby who has a custom firmware PSP check out this thread at Noobz: http://forums.noobz.eu/downgrader-s...p-you-unbrickdowngrade-a-psp-using-pandora/0/
