According to a detailed account from a fan -- "Political Gamer" -- who recently paid visit to Valve's offices, Steam will complement its recently added screenshot functionality with the ability to record video "soon."

There is already too many game networking frameworks for iOS with Game Center, Openfeint, Crystal, etc. My favourite would be Openfeint from that selection. Also, if Steam somehow manages to get better video recording performance than fraps, I'm definitely willing to switch over.

I would kill for a Steam app on my phone assuming it was somewhat close to the PC one and let you talk to your friends. I'd also kill for cs 1.6 on my phone :O.

CS 1.6 on your phone...that's like an oxymoron...it can't work...it won't work. Fanboys would have a field day with that one

Steam on phones would be awesome, it would probably the primary one used. Also, the recording sounds good, if it is better than FRAPS I would love it (main downpoint on FRAPS - splitting files every 4GB, which can be every minute recording at 1920x1080 60FPS).

I could totally own people with wasd on my droid 2 keyboard and a joystick on the screen or something. Bring it on!!

The video recording probably is the probably the one thing I'm interested in most.
