This week's Virtual Console update marks the addition of a single title instead of the usual two, with retro beat 'em up classic Double Dragon joining the NES lineup of titles. Unlike its Arcade counterpart, the NES rendition does not support simultaneous 2-player co-op. Instead, players alternate turns playing when the other dies. B-o-r-i-n-g.
Honestly, we have no idea why Nintendo decided to bring the inferior version over, seeing as the Genesis port of the game does in fact support 2-player co-op. Either way, the NES original is available now for 500 Wii Points.
