What does the GEN-A enable you to do?

First off, I accidently made this topic in the tutorial section and I feel like a total idiot, sorry about that.

Okay, so I was thinking about installing GEN-A, but I am not entirely sure what it enables me to do that the ChickHEN can't.

I tried looking around for some information on it, including it's Exophase page but it doesn't explain much. Does it enable PSX games? Does it enable me to play my PSP games backed up? I'm not entirely sure.

Yes it can run PSX games as that really the only thing I use it for, as for running backups you should be able to but I have not tried to play any ISO/CSOs I just play my PSP games off the disc.
 
It's no different from the latest M33 release, really, apart from the fact that GEN-A is based on firmware 5.50. Keep in mind it won't work on PSP-3000 units or TA-088 v3 motherboards.

it depends, from what he's talking about...

1. the CFW 5.50GEN-A
or
2. the CFWe 5.03GEN-A for HEN

1. will brick PSP-3000 units or TA-088 v3
2. works on those with ChickHEN R2
 
I assume he's talking about 5.50 GEN. This is why it helps to be specific..
