What is Project4? What does it do? Should I install it?
 
It's some XMB replacement program. I've never used it myself.
 
It's still currently in beta stage, I've personally gave a try. It's quite a cool project.

But I'd recommend you to NOT try it, (unless you have pandora), since the installer itself if not mature enough, (I tried five times until it works).
